Over the weekend, we made a road trip to Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park (meaning Three Hundred Mountain Peaks in Thai) which is only 2 hours and 30 minutes drive from Bangkok. The landscape ranges from towering limestone islands, hundreds-years-old-stalactites caves, mountains, beaches, to country’s wet land & largest freshwater marsh. This place is a paradise for day-trippers and bird watchers alike (accounting for more than 300 species of bird). If you are lucky enough, you will catch a glimpse of dolphins. It is here that we have also found our new favorite spot for sunset <3
Mae Ya Waterfall In Doi Inthanon Four Seasons Chiang Mai
It is not a secret that we LOVE Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. We are always excited and looking forward to each and every stay with the property. Four Seasons is the blueprint of what a true luxury resort should be; setting in superb location, boasting its inside-out beauty with perfect blend between opulent design and authentic local influenced décor, architecture, and style, serving with warm hospitality and highly personalized services (thoughtful touches like complimentary early check-in and late check-out), offering mouthwatering fine dining cuisine, and equipped with award wining spa facility. Four Seasons Chiang Mai is no exception, that is why we have chosen to spend our new year holiday here. If your perfect holiday is to be woken up into 2016 with gentle winter breeze, living between mountains among the rice terraces, riding and playing with resident water buffalos, private reserve breakfast & dinner, and enjoying the luxurious pamper at the peacefully indulgent paradise, Four Seasons Chiang Mai is the place to be.
Hotel Muse Pool Looking Over Bangkok Skyline
We have been such big fans of Hotel Muse, being spell bounded by its irresistible 1920 The Great Gatsby Charm. This remarks our 3rd stay at Hotel Muse, and it doesn’t get any better than 3 days 2 nights stay at the property’s crown jewel; Paranim Penthouse. As I entered this astonishingly luxurious penthouse, The Golden Age of Travel begins. History comes alive to me. You know, back then to the lavish era when people used to fully dress up and carrying Louis Vitton suitcases for travel, guests were treated like loyalty, haute cuisine was served in matching cutlery silverware with wine pairing, and every comfort and requirement was catered to. This place has it all and I would be lying if I say this place does not inspire me to dress up in the dazzling 20s grace. Now I am ready to be pampered in pure vintage luxury at this extravagantly magnificent 216 square meters penthouse. Travel in style and come fly away with me to this Très Chic Bangkok Haven.
Although within an eyeshot of the famous bustle and hustle Phi Phi Island (which we also love :)), Koh Lanta features charmingly calm clear blue seas, miles long white sand beaches, and stunning scenery both on and offshore (Oh Yes Paradise with Solitude Found!). The island is a true beauty hiding within the sea of Andaman with a touch of pure nature. Koh Lanta is also fairly known among European tourists as the hub for midrange to luxury holiday escape and it doesn’t get more luxury than that of the island’s first and ultimate 5 star resort “Pimalai”. Tucked away surreptitiously into 100 acres of lush green tropical forest on the edge of the ocean at the stunning Kantiang beach (with direct access to their 900 meters long pristine beach! goal!). If you are looking for luxury escape to the best-kept secret island that you can simply relax, unwind, and lose yourself to the serenity of luscious greenery and endless Andaman water, Pimalai is the place to be. Wanna check in with us to our Pimalai One Bedroom Pool Villa? Right this way :)
From Sky rocking buildings to golden ancient temples, from buzzing nightlife to authentic floating markets, from high end designer shops to street markets, Bangkok is a vibrant, dynamic, and charming city that has it all. Anantara Siam Bangkok is your luxury authentic escape at the heart of Bangkok (3 minutes walk from Rajadamri BTS Station). You gotta love their elegant rendezvous lobby filled with dozens of blooming flowers (oh yes!) and lush green gardens, grand marble staircases, hand painted silk ceilings and walls, embedding Traditional Thai to contemporary architecture, seven restaurants for dining choices (Every Sunday the hotel offers Brunch to showcase mouth watering dishes from their award winning restaurants, and of cause we got this covered for you :)), and outdoor pool surrounded by tropical foliage . It is hard to believe that you could have it all in the city center. Oh have I mentioned that they got the BEST SPA in TOWN!? Checking into our 3 Days 2 Nights stay at One Bedroom Corner Suite. Follow me, this way.
Our jaws drop as our longtail boat cruising closer to Koh Kradan and the ocean started turning into crazy shades of vivid turquoise blue. No wonder why our resort is called “Sevenseas Resort”. The water is crystal clear we can see white sand underneath the ocean’s floor. As professional island hoppers we are not afraid to say that this is most definitely one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand. We got asked by many of our followers where the under radar, non-touristic, and secluded tropical paradises are? Koh Kradan just made it to that list.
