Home to Bangkok’s most recent luxurious-chic rooftop bar, Octave, offers sweeping 360-degree view of Bangkok Metropolitan Skyline, Marriott Bangkok is undoubtedly our perfect weekend getaway. Wouldn’t it be nice to party it all up at Octave then elevator yourselves down few floors below, take midnight bubble bath and then hit the comfy bed of your One Bedroom Executive Suite? That’s exactly what we did J. Some think we are crazy for loving to spend some of our weekends staying at our favorite luxury hotels in Bangkok. But then again why not? Life is too short not to enjoy every single weekend that you have, and often enough you don’t have time to travel far away so if we must be in Bangkok then we shall only go to the best places. This modernly sleek and sophisticated minimal hotel is located in the city center of the urban and buzzing neighborhood of Sukhumvit with easy access to anything from trendy cafés to ultra-luxe shopping centers, and the sky train at your doorstep. As you walked into the lobby you feel the sense of understated luxury that echoes from the endless floor-to-ceiling-windows, warm lighted chandeliers, and polished marble floors against dark wooden shelves and walls. The check-in process was easy and breezy; after literally 8 minutes we were bad worded to our One Bedroom Executive Suite.
A truly true five-star journey always begins with an airport pick-up and Park Hyatt Saigon did nothing but constantly exceeding our expectations; starting with our chauffeur, Mr. M.Y. welcoming us on board to our private black S-Class Mercedes. Park Hyatt Saigon rises nine stories above District 1, city’s most expensive address, flanked by top designer boutiques including Christian Dior, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, Jimmy Choo, and Christian Louboutin and just few steps from Saigon’s main tourist attractions and iconic landmarks such as the Saigon Opera House, the Central Post office, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Reunification Palace, the Fine Arts Museum, and Ben Thanh market. Built with elegant French-Grand-Colonial-Era-Ambiance making Park Hyatt Saigon blended in perfectly with its historical landmark neighbors as if it has always been there. Park Hyatt Saigon is undoubtedly the ultimate luxurious hotel in Ho Chi Minh City with the afternoon high teas under sparking crystal chandeliers and soaring ceiling of the elegant Park Lounge, a soothing escape in the beautiful outdoor swimming pool tucked away from the city’s bustle and hustle in a spacious landscaped garden, world class spa treatment at Xuan, Italian Alfresco Dining at Opera, and tasty signature cocktails at this Tres Chic bar and Saigon’s nightlife hotspot “2 Lam Son Bar”.
A home to one of the eighth wonder of the world, The Angkor Wat, and a living proof of Khmer Empire’s glorious era and flourish civilization with impeccable geometry, extraordinary architecture, and unmatched designs, Temples of Angkor, Siem Reap is a Star Attraction and a city that is truly like no others. It is a kind of place to be seen by your very own eyes only. Truly magical and forever sensational to both of us! We are so excited to be back, always have ton of fun shooting here as unlimited amount of fine photography is being made despite numbers of our visit. The Temples of Angkor have the grand scale of The Great Wall of China, the majestic beauty and delicacy of Indian’s Taj Mahal, and the strong resemblance of Egyptian Pyramid, all combined into one; making its European castle counterparts blush. Akin to that of Egyptian Pyramid, they both provoked an obvious question “How were they built? (Especially as and when It was build almost a thousand years ago, in 1101”). These irresistible authentic Cambodian charms, unanswered wonders, and endless inspirations luring us to make our repeat visit to Siem Reap. As we have always been very fond of how Park Hyatt flawlessly and exquisitely blends chic modern vibes together with that of the charm of local authentic heritage, we have chosen to stay at Park Hyatt Siem Reap. It is exactly what we thought and hope it to be, an ultimate 5-star oasis located at the very heart of the vibrant, Siem Reap. It totally is a perfect & long waited holiday, a little break from GMAT. Ready to explore the enchanted Siem Reap and its spellbound temples of Angkor? Come this way! Quick!
Although within an eyeshot of the famous bustle and hustle Phi Phi Island (which we also love :)), Koh Lanta features charmingly calm clear blue seas, miles long white sand beaches, and stunning scenery both on and offshore (Oh Yes Paradise with Solitude Found!). The island is a true beauty hiding within the sea of Andaman with a touch of pure nature. Koh Lanta is also fairly known among European tourists as the hub for midrange to luxury holiday escape and it doesn’t get more luxury than that of the island’s first and ultimate 5 star resort “Pimalai”. Tucked away surreptitiously into 100 acres of lush green tropical forest on the edge of the ocean at the stunning Kantiang beach (with direct access to their 900 meters long pristine beach! goal!). If you are looking for luxury escape to the best-kept secret island that you can simply relax, unwind, and lose yourself to the serenity of luscious greenery and endless Andaman water, Pimalai is the place to be. Wanna check in with us to our Pimalai One Bedroom Pool Villa? Right this way :)
Our jaws drop as our longtail boat cruising closer to Koh Kradan and the ocean started turning into crazy shades of vivid turquoise blue. No wonder why our resort is called “Sevenseas Resort”. The water is crystal clear we can see white sand underneath the ocean’s floor. As professional island hoppers we are not afraid to say that this is most definitely one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand. We got asked by many of our followers where the under radar, non-touristic, and secluded tropical paradises are? Koh Kradan just made it to that list.
