Ritz Carlton Phulay Bay, Where The Mountains Meet The Sea

The car pulled in passing what looked like a ten feet tall Moroccan-influenced castle wall in deep purple hue. As the car stopped, we stepped out into a grand open-air Thai pavilion that literally sits on water and to make it more surreal, we were surrounded by 2000 candles that are all fully lit up. Each step we take walking from one stone to another is like walking on water; at the end the full hospitality team of Ritz Carlton awaits to give us a personal warm welcome to the property. “Welcome to Ritz Carlton Phulay Bay” where the mountain meets the sea, the voice echoed as the beautifully handmade flower garland made fresh purple orchid is being gently into our wrists. Then our butler quickly escorted us to our stunning Royal Andaman Sea Villa. Welcome to our home for the next 3 nights; come with us this way!

Pimalai: The Crown Jewel of Koh Lanta, Thailand

HolidayRunway_Pimalai026

Although within an eyeshot of the famous bustle and hustle Phi Phi Island (which we also love :)), Koh Lanta features charmingly calm clear blue seas, miles long white sand beaches, and stunning scenery both on and offshore (Oh Yes Paradise with Solitude Found!). The island is a true beauty hiding within the sea of Andaman with a touch of pure nature. Koh Lanta is also fairly known among European tourists as the hub for midrange to luxury holiday escape and it doesn’t get more luxury than that of the island’s first and ultimate 5 star resort “Pimalai”. Tucked away surreptitiously into 100 acres of lush green tropical forest on the edge of the ocean at the stunning Kantiang beach (with direct access to their 900 meters long pristine beach! goal!). If you are looking for luxury escape to the best-kept secret island that you can simply relax, unwind, and lose yourself to the serenity of luscious greenery and endless Andaman water, Pimalai is the place to be. Wanna check in with us to our Pimalai One Bedroom Pool Villa? Right this way :)

Six Senses Yao Noi : The Best of The Very Best

Welcome Back Home” the gentle voices echoed. We looked up and encountered with heartfelt smiles and grins upon the faces of Six Senses Yao Noi team whom warmly welcomed us as we stepped into their private jetty. Among those was my super GEM (Guest Experience Manager) from my previous stay “Pee Kawee” who is now promoted to Assistant Manager but still insist on coming to see us upon arrival and through out our entire (magical) stay. This is how superb and unparalleled service is here. Six Senses will always have our hearts and there is no end to our future returns to this property and our future visits to that of others. The idyllic location in the remote jungle with the million dollar view of James Bond made famous stunning limestone isles rising from the ocean of Phang Nga is unmatched by non others in Thailand and that of South East Asia. Cruising in Koh Hong with Six Senses Yao Noi

Six Senses Yao Noi

“Koh Hong, Excursion with Six Senses Yao Noi, Krabi, Thailand”

If you have been following us on Instagram you already knew that we back to Six Senses Yao Noi again. Could you blame me? They have such perfect location and killer view of the absolutely stunning James Bond made famous limestone isles of Phang Nga Bay as their backdrop. You all know how obsess I am with that view. Just a quick update from our superb excursion with them to Koh Hong, which means “the room” in Thai. I don’t think I need to tell you why they named it that way! The picture says it all, it is literally a lagoon in the middle of the ocean surrounded by limestone mountains. Can you spot us cruising on the stylish long tail boat with Six Senses Yao Noi. Thank you Mr. Norwan Zweyer of Six Senses who captured this awesome drone footage of us <3
