From Sky rocking buildings to golden ancient temples, from buzzing nightlife to authentic floating markets, from high end designer shops to street markets, Bangkok is a vibrant, dynamic, and charming city that has it all. Anantara Siam Bangkok is your luxury authentic escape at the heart of Bangkok (3 minutes walk from Rajadamri BTS Station). You gotta love their elegant rendezvous lobby filled with dozens of blooming flowers (oh yes!) and lush green gardens, grand marble staircases, hand painted silk ceilings and walls, embedding Traditional Thai to contemporary architecture, seven restaurants for dining choices (Every Sunday the hotel offers Brunch to showcase mouth watering dishes from their award winning restaurants, and of cause we got this covered for you :)), and outdoor pool surrounded by tropical foliage . It is hard to believe that you could have it all in the city center. Oh have I mentioned that they got the BEST SPA in TOWN!? Checking into our 3 Days 2 Nights stay at One Bedroom Corner Suite. Our jaws drop as our longtail boat cruising closer to Koh Kradan and the ocean started turning into crazy shades of vivid turquoise blue. No wonder why our resort is called “Sevenseas Resort”. The water is crystal clear we can see white sand underneath the ocean’s floor. As professional island hoppers we are not afraid to say that this is most definitely one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand. We got asked by many of our followers where the under radar, non-touristic, and secluded tropical paradises are? Koh Kradan just made it to that list.
“Welcome Back Home” the gentle voices echoed. We looked up and encountered with heartfelt smiles and grins upon the faces of Six Senses Yao Noi team whom warmly welcomed us as we stepped into their private jetty. Among those was my super GEM (Guest Experience Manager) from my previous stay “Pee Kawee” who is now promoted to Assistant Manager but still insist on coming to see us upon arrival and through out our entire (magical) stay. This is how superb and unparalleled service is here. Six Senses will always have our hearts and there is no end to our future returns to this property and our future visits to that of others. The idyllic location in the remote jungle with the million dollar view of James Bond made famous stunning limestone isles rising from the ocean of Phang Nga is unmatched by non others in Thailand and that of South East Asia. This is most certainly the ultimate tropical island dream that one shall experience once in a lifetime. Get ready for luxurious pampering among the great nature where soul soothing is guaranteed. Come with us, this way!
On our trip to Phuket we would like to try something different, we would like to experience Phuket by the nature, in great tranquility, and have peaceful and relaxing vacation far away from Bangkok city life as well as from the buzzing light and sound of Patong and Phuket Town. This is when we found “Ayara Kamala”, secluded ocean front luxurious boutique resort on the west coast. I absolutely love the combination between the touch of Traditional Thai and contemporary ambience. Little perfect sanctuary in Kamala Beach, you couldn’t believe that this is only 20 minutes from Patong. So you really can enjoy the best of both worlds; perfect isolation within the reach of city center.
On my birthday, Patrick and I, we have chosen to stay at Deluxe Suite of Sukhothai Hotel and wow it was wonderful. Though I really enjoy sleek and modern architecture my heart lays with rich cultural and classic design. You can already tell that there is something special about this place by looking at it. Most luxury hotels in Bangkok are skyscraper materials but Sukhothai is low rising labyrinthine complex surrounded by green trees and lotus ponds, adding that secret sanctuary vibe in the bustling City of Angels. Perfect touch of Thai and superb service awaits your visit.
“Koh Hong, Excursion with Six Senses Yao Noi, Krabi, Thailand”
If you have been following us on Instagram you already knew that we back to Six Senses Yao Noi again. Could you blame me? They have such perfect location and killer view of the absolutely stunning James Bond made famous limestone isles of Phang Nga Bay as their backdrop. You all know how obsess I am with that view. Just a quick update from our superb excursion with them to Koh Hong, which means “the room” in Thai. I don’t think I need to tell you why they named it that way! The picture says it all, it is literally a lagoon in the middle of the ocean surrounded by limestone mountains. Can you spot us cruising on the stylish long tail boat with Six Senses Yao Noi. Thank you Mr. Norwan Zweyer of Six Senses who captured this awesome drone footage of us <3
