Westin Rome is a romantic dream, this 1906 hotel is rich in history and is cutting a stately figure on the famous “Via Vento”, the original backdrop of Fellini’s 1960 Classic “La Dolce Vita”, giving us the full taste of its definition of “The Sweet Life”. Each floor is museum like, filled with grand crystal chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling marble glams, stucco ceilings, colossal golden frame mirrors, gorgeous paintings, oriental carpets, elegant moldings, and marvelous 19th century empire decors and furniture. The hotel gives you an experience of being on set of a movie, and now you know the reason why “La Dolce Vita” was filmed around the hotel as well as in the hotel for The Hollywood Famous Musical “Nine” featuring Nicole Kidman, Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cottillard, Penelope Cruz, and Kate Hudson. Talking about fame, Westin Rome has been hosting Hollywood celebrities, statesmen, and glamorous jetsetters for more than a century. For example, the hotel hosted the whole cast and crew of Ben-Hur back in 1959.

Westin Rome features 280 rooms and 35 suites. All the guest rooms here are decorated in elegant style and all come with crystal chandelier, floor-to-ceiling-marble-only kind of bathroom, walk-in closet, ultra-premium linens, and grand beds. Westin also has wide range of restaurants and bars. Doney’s is not to be missed, once the home center of Fellini’s paparazzi (in the flim La Dolce Vita). That is right, the word paparazzi originated here. We love Doney’s as it offers amazing patisseries as well as the fine dining.

Our 75 square meters Grand Luxe suite is blessed with not one, not two, but three beautiful terraces boasting the beautiful view over Via Vento and setting in real luxury. It is safe to say that this is a recall of La Dolce Vita by the unmistakable style. The suite features private entrance, separated spacious living room, master bedroom with walk-in closet, marble on marble bathroom with sinks for him and her, stunning red velvet curtains, Bohemian crystal chandelier, tailored made grand carpet, faux chimney, grand decoration, and all things loyal tones of red and gold. Feeling like staying on the hotel property all day? All of these options are up for grab; floating in the private indoor swimming pool, sweating it of at the gym, rejuvenating at the spa, or sipping sun downer and having authentic Roman Cuisine at Doney’s.

Westin Rome is also home to the largest suite in the entire Italy, the unparalleled “Villa La Cupola”. This 1,098 square meters suite is located on both fifth and sixth floor of the hotel, overlooking the dazzling Via Veneto. The 12 meters high dome of Westin Rome is the living room of Villa La Cupola Suite. The suite has its very own private elevator, fitness, sauna, steam bath, private wine cellar, 7 terraces, and its show stopper – the private Jacuzzi pool with mosaic floors.
